Early Intervention Psychosis
The Cleghorn Program works with people who are experiencing symptoms of early psychosis. This kind of work is known as "early intervention in psychosis." We provide assessment and treatment for individuals age 16 to 35 years experiencing a first episode of psychosis and who have never been treated for psychosis or has been treated for 1 year or less. We believe that recovery is best supported through a treatment partnership, where clients and staff work together. Family members and friends are also important partners in recovery. We spend time together making an individualized plan for recovery that all of us can share and support.
Affiliated with the Cleghorn Program in Hamilton.
All services are confidential and supplied without cost.
Services are funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
