The Specialized Geriatric Services Program provides non-emergency clinical assessment, consultation,treatment and education to older adults, their families and service providers who are, or know of, someone who is experiencing mental health issues combined with age-related difficulties.

Our Services are provided by an interdisciplinary team consisting of registered nurses, geriatric psychiatrists and geriatricians. Referrals are accepted from anyone, however the family physician is notified and support sought to address any medical concerns or symptoms that may be present. Clients are seen in their own home, retirement homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals and community programs.

All services are confidential and supplied without cost.
Services are funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
