Continuum of Care

Welcome

CAMHS is a Proud Canadian Centre for Accreditation Participant Organization

Proud Members of Addictions and Mental Health Ontario

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you will find the information and support you are seeking.

Community Addiction and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is a not for profit organization, which provides services to both Haldimand and Norfolk Counties – the ‘South Coast’ of Ontario. CAMHS provides its many services at several sites across Haldimand and Norfolk County. CAMHS is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care through Ontario Health West. CAMHS provides mental health services for individuals sixteen-years of age and older and addiction services, across the lifespan. In addition, we are fortunate to have a very strong and active Peer Support Program.

CAMHS is proud of its dedicated and professional staff who have expertise, training, and education across many health care fields. Many staff belong to regulated health colleges including nursing, social work and psychotherapy. CAMHS also has the support of psychiatrists, geriatricians and nurse practitioners. Additionally, CAMHS has several strong and collaborative partnerships with community agencies, which supports enhanced therapeutic services and specialized care when required.

I encourage you to review our various programs listed on this website. Again, our primary goal is to provide support to you when needed. If you are interested in services, please feel free to contact us via our toll-free number or complete the access form on this page.

All the best,

Bill Helmeczi
Chief Executive Officer
